Account, connection, route and refund information
From importing subscriptions to choosing routes during evening peaks, this page organizes common questions by stage of use. Identify the relevant category first, then check account status, client settings, your local network and the target route in order to avoid repeated steps.
From account creation to subscription import
Your account manages plans, subscriptions and client access. If a subscription does not update or you switch devices, return to the user panel for the current details instead of repeatedly changing client settings.
Is an email address required to create a GreenVPN account?
No. Create an account with a username and password—no email address is required. Choose a memorable username that is not reused on other websites, and store your password securely. From the user panel, you can select a plan, view subscription details and get the client app.
Where can I find my subscription after payment?
Sign in to the user panel and open the subscription or client section to retrieve the subscription details for your account, then import them into the client for your platform. Subscription details are account access credentials, so do not share them publicly or paste them into untrusted websites.
How do I update my subscription link?
First retrieve the current subscription again from the user panel, then open the client and run the subscription update. If old routes still appear, delete the old configuration and import it again, making sure the new configuration is enabled. Do not edit subscription contents manually during the update, as this can cause formatting errors.
Do I need to buy again after switching devices?
No. Switching devices does not require another purchase. GreenVPN supports use on unlimited devices: sign in to the user panel on the new device, retrieve the subscription and import it into the appropriate client. If the old device is no longer in use, remove its local configuration so account subscription details are not left on an idle device.
Which operating systems support GreenVPN?
Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux are supported. Permission settings, subscription import locations and connection prompts vary by system. Open the client download section from the user panel and follow the instructions for your current system.
Connected does not mean traffic has switched
The client’s connection status only indicates that the connection process has started. If websites do not open, some apps connect directly or subscription import fails, check system permissions, routing rules, your local network and whether the configuration is current.
The client says it is connected, but websites still will not open. What should I do?
Disconnect first, close any pages still loading in the browser, then switch routes and reconnect. Check whether the client has enabled the system proxy or the appropriate connection mode. If only certain websites are affected, clear that site’s cache and reopen it. If no websites are accessible, check whether your local network is working.
Why is a particular app not using the proxy?
A common cause is that the client is using split tunneling and has classified the app’s traffic as direct; required system permissions may also be incomplete. Switch temporarily to a more comprehensive connection mode, then check the client’s per-app rules. Fully close and reopen the app after making changes.
What should I check when subscription import fails?
Make sure the subscription came from the current user panel and was copied in full, without extra spaces or line breaks. If the client reports a format error, retrieve the subscription again and re-import it. For a network error, check your local network and try the update later. Do not process subscriptions through conversion websites from unknown sources.
How can I troubleshoot frequent disconnections?
Check whether interruptions occur only on one route, then try another route in the same region. On mobile devices, check whether the system restricts the client from running in the background. On desktop devices, verify that the connection remains active after waking from sleep. After changing networks, disconnect the old connection before establishing a new one.
What should I do if the new device cannot connect after importing?
Confirm that the new device has the correct system time and that all required client permissions have been granted. Retrieve the subscription again from the user panel instead of copying a cached configuration from the old device. After importing, select a route and reconnect, then check the exit status to confirm that traffic has switched.
Choose routes by region, time and use case
Route performance depends on your local network, international paths, the target service region and time of use. Judge routes by actual access performance rather than their names or a single speed test.
What should I do about slowdowns during peak evening hours?
Routes between different network providers and the same region can become congested during evening peaks. Try another route in the same region, then compare real-world page loading, video buffering and file-transfer performance. Do not judge a route from a single speed test; using it continuously for a while gives a clearer view of stability.
How do I choose a route suited to my location and use case?
For everyday browsing, start with a geographically closer region and a more direct route. For region-specific AI Tools or Streaming services, choose an exit region that matches the target service. If nearby routes are congested, compare the actual connection performance of neighboring regions.
What is the difference between IEPL, relay and direct routes?
IEPL focuses on path quality across international links. Relay routes pass through an optimized entry point before reaching the exit, while direct routes reach the exit through the local network. Actual performance also depends on your location, network provider, time of use and target website, so choose based on your needs.
Which route should I try when Streaming or AI Tools are unavailable?
First confirm which regions the target service supports, then choose a route in the relevant region. After switching, close the target app or browser page, reconnect and open it again so the old session does not retain the previous region information. If one route in a region has issues, try another available route there.
How extensive is GreenVPN’s route coverage?
GreenVPN covers 90+ markets / 200+ routes. Routes are organized by region and use case. Consider the target website’s region, your current network environment and actual access performance rather than relying on one route over the long term.
Monthly plans, data packages and refund rules
Monthly plans reset data on the activation date, while data packages are consumed as needed. Before paying or upgrading, verify the plan name, data allowance and amount shown in the user panel, then choose according to your usage frequency.
What monthly subscription plans are available?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Choose based on everyday browsing, continuous media use or high-volume transfers—not just occasional usage.
How are data packages billed, and do they expire?
Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. They suit users with irregular usage who prefer to pay for actual consumption, unlike monthly subscriptions that reset on the activation date.
How is a mid-cycle monthly plan upgrade calculated?
For a mid-cycle monthly upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before submitting the upgrade, check the current plan, target plan and displayed result in the user panel, then confirm before continuing. This helps distinguish added data from extended usage time.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Available methods are shown on the user panel’s checkout page. Check the plan name and amount before paying, confirm the order status afterward, then open the subscription section to retrieve the current account details.
How can I request a refund if I am not satisfied?
If you are not satisfied with your first payment, you can request a full refund within 14 days. Sign in to the user panel, open the ticket area, provide the relevant order and reason, and submit the request. Before submitting, try updating the subscription, switching routes or re-importing the client to rule out local configuration issues.
Open a ticket with reproduction details
In your ticket, describe the issue, operating system, route region and troubleshooting already completed. For order-related questions, submit the ticket from the current account’s ticket area so the relevant record can be checked.
