Get a valid subscription before configuring the client

The account stores your plan and subscription details, while the client reads the subscription and establishes the connection. These steps depend on each other: without a completed order, the client cannot retrieve usable routes; until the subscription is imported, installing the client alone will not make GreenVPN routes appear. Following this order lets you check account, subscription, and connection issues separately.

ACCOUNT

Create an account: username and password

After opening GreenVPN's free-use page, choose a username that is easy for you to recognize, then set a login password. Registration requires only a username and password, with no email address. Before submitting, check that the username is complete and store the password securely; you will use these login details to view plans, copy the subscription, and manage orders.

After submission succeeds, the page will open the user panel. If the browser remains on the login screen, sign in with the username and password you just set. Once inside, confirm that the account overview loads before choosing a plan. There is no need to look for client settings yet, and you should not copy unknown links from other pages: the user panel provides the current account's subscription details after the order is complete.

If the username is already taken, choose another and submit again. If login returns you to the entry page, refresh it and re-enter your details. If you still cannot get in, visit the Support Center for account and subscription guidance instead of repeatedly creating accounts.

PLAN

Choose a plan: understand how you will use your data

In the plans section, you will find monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they last until used and never expire. You do not need to choose based on your device, since GreenVPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux, with unlimited devices.

For regular daily use with fairly consistent monthly demand, choose a monthly subscription based on your estimated usage. If you use the service less often and want data to decrease only as consumed, compare the data packages. Do not look only at the data amount; confirm the billing type as well. When upgrading a monthly subscription midway through the term, the difference is prorated by the remaining days, so review the current plan and displayed result again on the order confirmation page.

After choosing a plan, open the order confirmation page and check the plan name, price, and account. Then pay with Alipay, WeChat, or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel and do not close an order page that is still processing. If your first purchase is not satisfactory, you can request a full refund within 14 days; the plan page and Terms of Service define the applicable details.

PROFILE

Get your subscription: copy it from the user panel

When the order status is complete, open the user panel overview and find the subscription section. It shows the current plan status and the subscription entry used for client import. After clicking Copy, do not paste it into a chat window or public page; switch directly to the client you plan to use and import it there. The subscription link is tied to your account and should be stored securely.

A subscription link is usually a complete URL. In this guide, you can think of it as having a structure like https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN, but this is clearly a placeholder and cannot be used to connect. For actual setup, use the content copied after signing in to the user panel. Do not manually combine the domain, parameters, or markers, and do not use example addresses found in search results.

After copying, you can paste the link into the client's input field to check it: there should be no extra spaces at either end, and the content should remain one continuous string. If the client says the format cannot be recognized, return to the user panel and copy it again instead of editing it character by character. Once you have confirmed the subscription is ready, import it into the client for your device.

CLIENT IMPORT

Find the subscription import option for your platform

Desktop clients usually import subscriptions from a configuration or subscription-management page. Mobile clients typically place the option in the top-right corner of the home screen, a side menu, or a configuration list. A successful import is not merely a visible URL; the client should refresh and display selectable regional routes.

Windows

After opening a Windows desktop client that supports subscription imports, go to “Configuration” or “Subscription Management.” Choose Import from Link, paste the subscription copied from the user panel into the address field, then click Add, Save, or Download. Once the client finishes reading it, the configuration list should show the GreenVPN route set.

Return to the client home screen, set the newly imported configuration as the current one, and refresh the route list once more. If the page shows only a blank configuration, the import probably was not saved. If a format warning appears, return to the user panel and copy the complete subscription again. Once the route list is visible, avoid running other network configuration tools at the same time and continue to connection verification.

macOS

In the macOS client, open configuration management and find Add Subscription, Remote Configuration, or Import from URL. Paste the subscription and save it; macOS may ask for permission to add a network configuration. Confirm the system prompt, return to the client, wait for the subscription to refresh, and switch the newly imported configuration to the current one.

When connecting for the first time, macOS may ask again to approve a network extension or system permission. Confirm it and check the menu bar or client status instead of repeatedly clicking Connect. If the configuration is imported but the switch will not start, quit and reopen the client. For more detailed permission recovery, see the macOS client section of the User Manual.

Android

Open the Android client's side menu or configuration page, choose Add Subscription, and use Import from Link. Paste the subscription, enter a recognizable name, and save it, then tap Update or Refresh. When the route list appears, choose a route matching the target service's region and return to the home screen to connect.

The first time you start a connection, the system displays a permission window for creating a network connection. Approve it and wait for the client status to change to Connected. If strict battery-saving restrictions are enabled, the client may stop maintaining the connection in the background. This page does not cover every system interface; if the connection drops in the background, check the connection and troubleshooting sections in the Support Center.

iOS

In the iOS client, open the subscription or remote-configuration page, tap the add option, and paste the subscription link from the user panel. Save and update the configuration, then return to the client home screen after the regional routes appear. Some clients can recognize links from the clipboard; before using that feature, confirm that it picked up the content just copied from the user panel.

The first time you connect, iOS asks for permission to add a network configuration and may require device identity confirmation. After granting permission, return to the client, choose a route, and start the connection. If the client shows Connected but the target app still uses its previous network state, fully close and reopen the app before checking the exit status.

CONNECTED

Connect and verify: confirm traffic uses the selected route

After importing, choose a route matching the target service's region and start the connection. When changing routes, disconnect first, select the new route, and reconnect to prevent the old session from continuing to occupy the system network configuration. The client showing Connected is only the first check; also verify the exit status and actual access results.

Before connecting, note the exit region of your current network. After connecting, use a trusted IP-check page to see whether the exit has changed and whether the displayed region broadly matches the selected route. Then open the website or app you plan to use and check that it loads normally. For apps that were already open, fully quit and restart them so an old connection or cache does not affect the result.

If the exit has not changed, first confirm that the client is using the configuration you just imported and check that the system has granted network-connection permission. Then disconnect, select the route again, and reconnect. If the exit has changed but a particular service still does not work, switch to another route in the same target region and clear the service's old session before trying again. Avoid switching between multiple regions repeatedly, as this makes the issue harder to isolate.

When the subscription will not refresh, return to the user panel first to confirm the plan status, then copy the subscription again. If no route can connect, test with a different basic network environment for comparison. A complete workflow for DNS, per-app connections, system permissions, and route diagnosis is available in the Complete User Manual; for quick answers, visit the Support Center.

Setup complete

Once the exit status and access to the target service match expectations, your first-time setup is complete. When switching devices later, sign in to the same account, get the subscription again, and import it.
